Prague based music label and community Genot Centre returns for the fifth edition in their GenotPresents series, focusing on the presentation of contemporary electronic and abstract sounds in an atypical immersive context.
This fifth edition, taking place in Archa Theatre on the 13th of April 2021, invites an assortment of musicians pushing boundaries in the wider electronic, abstract sphere. The duo of ---__--___ (More Eaze & Seth Graham) (Orange Milk Records) presents a collaboration that spans from delicate sound design, contemporary auto-tuned vocal styles to the emotional outbursts of alternative guitar music styles. In a Czech premiere, soon to be Genot associate Klahrk (WARE, SFX, Activia Benz) will bring his electroacoustic dancefloor deformations and heavy hitting computer bangers to the powerful and precise Archa soundsystem. Natálie Pleváková's exceptionally diverse work covers such diverse reaches as sound design, computer music performance, theater and gallery art. Together with her frequent collaborator, visual artist Jan Matýsek, she will present a special performance reinventing her live practice and shining a further light on the liquid, digital, and hauntological character of her long awaited debut album.
