Writer and musician Eva Turnová and writer and musician Jaroslav Rudiš have read together several times. Both also move around the music, so they thought of connecting literature and music into a unique project. Together with musicians Martin Novák and brothers Tomáš and Jiří Hradila, they embark on a three-day tour called "On the Road", which will feature songs by the Kafka Band and Eturnity.
"The literary-musical trip of these is called 'On the Road' because Jára travels a lot on the train and still writes something there. His latest novel, 'Winterberg's Last Journey', is even about a train ride, ”says Eva Turnová.
"And Eva wrote a short story about the tour, which is directly called 'On the Road'. The topic also touches on the immediate present, when someone is still moving somewhere. Maybe in the end we will stage a play that we will play ourselves, but we haven't agreed yet. The fact is that overall I perceive that we are all on the train and basically still, ”adds Jaroslav Rudiš.
The artists will travel to Nové Město na Moravě on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, stop on a string in Brno on Wednesday, June 1, and their destination station will be the Archa Theatre in Prague on Thursday, June 2.
